Frequently asked questions
Why does Stokk's stock disagree with my ERP?
Almost always a sync timing issue. Stokk's stock is the value at the last sync; your ERP shows current. See Sync troubleshooting.
What's the difference between safety stock and reorder point?
Safety stock is buffer for demand variability — stock you don't expect to use but keep in case demand spikes or a delivery slips. Reorder point is the threshold that triggers an order: forecasted demand during lead time plus safety stock. When on-hand drops below the reorder point, Stokk recommends ordering.
How does Stokk pick which sales history to forecast on?
The trailing 84 days of daily sales per location/SKU. The window is the same across items today; per-item overrides aren't yet exposed in the UI.
Why are some items missing from the forecast?
Items with under 14 days of sales history are classified as new and held out of the standard forecast until they've been selling long enough. Items in this state appear in the grid with a new badge.
Can I edit a confirmed replenishment order?
Not directly. Once confirmed, the order moves to the purchasing approval queue. Adjustments need a change request, which an admin can approve to reopen the order.
How is landed cost calculated?
Stokk uses the most recent landed cost from the ERP, or a manually overridden value on the item card if set. Multi-currency tenants get the value converted to base currency at sync time.
Why do I see different numbers than another user?
Role and location scope. Store managers only see their assigned locations; purchasing managers and admins see everything in the company. If two admins still disagree, refresh — one of you may have been looking at a stale page.
Does Stokk keep history of changes?
Yes. Edits to items, suppliers, SIFs, and confirmed orders are written to the audit log, visible at Admin → Audit Log.
