Users and roles

Stokk is multi-tenant: every user belongs to one or more companies and carries a role within each. The role decides which sidebar sections and which data they can access.

Roles

Three roles are grantable to your team:

  • Store manager — sees the Store section. Scoped to one or more locations they're assigned to. Reviews and submits the replenishment for their store.
  • Purchasing manager — sees Store, Purchasing, and Reports. Approves and sends purchase orders.
  • Company admin — everything above plus Admin (users, locations, integrations, audit log).

A fourth tier — platform admin — exists for Stokk staff to support tenants. It's not a role you can grant.

Inviting a user

  1. Go to Admin → Users.
  2. Click Invite user, enter their email and pick a role.
  3. For store managers, also select which locations they're scoped to.
  4. They receive an email link, set a password, and land on the Dashboard.

Changing a role later

On the same page, click a user to change their role or location assignments. Changes take effect on their next page load.
