Locations

A location in Stokk is anywhere stock physically sits — a warehouse or a store. Every stock and sales record carries a location, and most reports can be sliced by it.

Location types

  • Warehouse — central or regional. Receives from suppliers and ships to stores.
  • Store — sells to customers. Replenished from a warehouse on a transfer schedule.

Where to manage them

Locations sync from your ERP automatically — Stokk creates one row per location it finds. Open Admin → Locations to:

  • Set the type (warehouse or store)
  • Set a default lead time in days — how long stock typically takes to arrive at this location
  • For stores, pick the order day of the week the replenishment cycle runs on

Why type matters

Type drives behaviour: stores get a daily replenishment draft; warehouses are where supplier-side purchasing happens. Misclassifying a location is the most common cause of "why isn't this site getting replenishment proposals?"
