Install Stokk on your phone
Stokk is an app for iPhone and Android. It is the same Stokk you use in the browser, with the same menu, and you sign in with the same email and password.
Staff who only do training use a separate app, Stokk Learn. See The Stokk Learn app.
What the app adds
- New-order notifications (iPhone). When an online order arrives that you pick, your phone buzzes; tap it to open the order. Warehouse staff hear about orders to ship, store staff about pickup orders for their store.
- The iPhone's own scanner. Wherever Stokk scans a barcode (picking, counts, item lookup), the iPhone app uses the phone's camera scanner, which is faster and works in poor light.
- Files and labels. Exports, label PDFs and printing work inside the app on both phones.
- App settings in the menu (iPhone): turn notifications on or off, and find the privacy policy and support.
No app store? Add Stokk to your home screen
On a shared or managed device where you can't install apps, add Stokk to the home screen instead. It opens full-screen with its own icon.
- iPhone / iPad (Safari): open Stokk and sign in, tap Share (the square with an arrow), then Add to Home Screen.
- Android (Chrome): open Stokk and sign in, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app (or Add to Home screen).
Refreshing a screen
The app has no address bar, so there is no reload button. Instead, pull down on a screen to refresh it: swipe down from the top of the page and let go when the circular arrow appears.
On the pickup and online orders queues the pull does more than reload: it also pulls new orders straight from Shopify, so a just-placed order shows up right away.
Good to know
- You stay signed in, so opening the app takes you straight to your dashboard.
- It's the same live Stokk as in the browser, so you always see current numbers.
- New Stokk features reach the app the moment we release them; there is nothing to update for those.
