Item lookup

Item lookup is a fast way to check an item on the floor: scan its barcode (or type a SKU) and you get its price, barcode, and stock at every location — plus the shelf location where it lives, if one is set.

Looking something up

Scan a barcode or type a SKU and press Enter (or tap Look up). The field re-arms after each lookup, so you can scan one item after another. Don't know the code? Tap Search by name and start typing — pick a result to load it.

What you see

• Price — the retail price (incl. VAT). If your role is Administrator or Purchasing, the cost price (also incl. VAT) shows smaller beneath it; other roles never see cost.
• Barcodes — every barcode on the item, not just the primary one. Scanning any of them finds the item; if there are several, tap to show them all.
• Stock by location — on-hand quantity at each active location, with a total. Locations with zero stock are dimmed.
• Bin — the shelf / bin location at each warehouse, when one has been set in Put away.

Where the data comes from

Everything is read from Stokk's own synced catalog, so lookups are instant and don't depend on your ERP being reachable. Prices, barcodes, and stock refresh on the regular sync; shelf locations update as soon as someone sets them in Put away, and again on each sync.
