The till is a fast, lightweight point-of-sale screen for a secondary or pop-up register — a warehouse sale, a market stall, an overflow lane. It's not a full store register (no cash drawer or end-of-day reports); it's built to ring up sales quickly and post them to your ERP. Open it from /pos (also under Point of Sale in the sidebar). It runs full-screen on an iPad or a handheld scanner.
On completion the sale posts to your ERP as an invoice and you get a confirmation. Print a receipt if a printer is set up, or start the next sale.
A sale defaults to your cash / walk-in customer (set in /admin/pos) — its name shows on the customer button. Tap it to attach a real customer; if they have a standing discount it's applied to the whole cart automatically. You can also discount a single line (% or a set price) or the whole sale. A discount never drops below an item's active campaign price.
Two ways: set a line's quantity negativeto mix a return into a sale (if the total goes negative it's handled as a refund), or use Recent / Refund to reverse a specific past sale line by line. Either way a credit posts to your ERP.
Tap Park to suspend the current cart (e.g. a customer forgot their wallet) and serve the next person. Parked sales show as Parked at the top — recall one to pick up where you left off, or discard it.
Selling never stops. The sale is saved first, then sent to the ERP — if that fails, the sale still completes and is flagged in Recent / Refund with a Resubmit button to push it once the ERP is back.
Receipts show your business name, kennitala and VAT number, the salesperson, the invoice number, line items, and VAT broken out by rate. Your ERP stays the system of record for the invoice.
An admin configures the till at /admin/pos: the default cash customer, whether invoices post immediately or as drafts, the DK payment-method ids for cash and card (so sales post as paid), and quick keysfor items that don't scan well. Connecting a cloud card terminal is optional. Staff need a role with the Point of Sale module.
