Move an old punch card

When you switch from another punch card system, customers still carry their old cards. Staff can move an old card onto a new Stokk punch card with the same stamps, at the till, in under a minute.

Switch it on

Open the punch card under /gift-cards/punch-cards, tap Edit and tick Customers can bring an old punch card. The till then shows Move an old punch card.

At the till

1. Scan the code on the customer's old card on /store/gift-cards. Stokk doesn't know it, so it offers Move to a new punch card. You can also tap Move an old punch card and scan or type the code there.
2. Count the stamps on the old card and set the number. Don't include today's purchase.
3. Leave Stamp today's purchase too ticked to add today's stamp on the new card, as a normal visit. If that stamp lands on a reward along the way, the till says Give now.
4. Tap Make the new card. The customer scans the QR with their phone camera and saves the card to their wallet.
5. Ask them to delete the old card from their phone.

Each old card moves once

Stokk keeps the old card's code. Scanning it again opens the new card, with a note that it was moved, so you stamp the right one. Trying to move it a second time is refused.

Entered the wrong number of stamps? A manager can correct stamps on the new card's page, with a reason. If the new card is cancelled, the old card can be moved again.
