A new item usually comes into your ERP with its cost as its price, until someone prices it. Pricing finds these items and helps you give them a first price, supplier by supplier.
On a supplier's page, the New filter shows the items created in the last 60 days that are still at the cost price they came with. Older items at cost price (samples, testers, display stock) stay out of it. The filter only shows when there is something new.
When a new item's name differs from items you already sell only by a scent or colour word, and it costs about the same (within 12%), STOKK suggests the price most of them sell at. A new Lavender Hand Cream 30ml next to six other Hand Cream 30ml at 1,290 is suggested at 1,290. The row says New, priced like its range and which items it follows. Names that differ by a size or a number never count as one range.
Accept it, type your own price, or leave it, as with any suggestion. Once sent, the price stays until the cost rises, like a price you typed.
Gift sets and new lines have nothing to follow. Tick them, press Price at markup in the bar above the list, type a markup such as 150% and press Use. Each item gets its own price: that markup on its cost, plus VAT, rounded to 80 or 90 the way your rules round. A linked set gets one price, its dearest item's. The prices wait on the rows; check them, then press Accept with the items still ticked.
To price one item, click its price and type a price or a markup such as 220%.
Items that should share one price (the scents of one gift set, say) can be linked before they have a price: tick them and press Link. They show as one row, and a price on that row is the price of all of them. A new item linked to items that already have a price is suggested at their price.
