A membership card can do more than sit in a phone wallet. When you approve a sign-up, Stokk can also set the member's customer category and standing discount in your ERP, and tag their customer in your online store. A breeders' club is the usual case: approved members move to the breeders' category with its discount, and the tag gives them breeder prices in the web shop.
Open the membership card from Membership cards and choose Edit. Under What members get, pick the customer category, type the discount and, if your online store is connected, the tag. Leave a field empty to leave it as it is.
A card that gives terms is never handed out from the public link alone, so Approve each sign-up has to be on while public sign-up is on. Staff adding a member at the counter is an approval in itself.
The card is only sent once the ERP has the new terms. If your ERP can't be reached, the sign-up stays waiting with the reason and Try again. If only the online store fails, the card still goes out, and the card's page says Needs a look with its own Try again.
Cancelling the card puts the customer back: the category and discount they had before the card, and the tag comes off in the online store. If they already had exactly these terms before the card (set by hand before the programme existed), cancelling clears them. Stokk leaves the terms alone if someone has changed them in your ERP since, or if another membership card gives the same terms.
